Community Engagement
We are proud to support local schools by providing engaging, practical experiences that help young people learn about first aid, and emergency care.
Recently we had the pleasure of supporting a year 6 student who was completing their civic award and chose medical as their community service. We were able to take this student to an event and help them understand what happens when someone becomes unwell or injured, how to respond in an emergency and the importance of welfare within the community.
At Emergency Medical Team, we believe education and community involvement go hand in hand. We are always happy to work with schools, youth groups and community organizations to provide informative and engaging sessions around first aid.
Mini Medics
Our Mini Medic station is a fun, interactive way for young children to learn the basics of first aid while having plenty of hands on fun!
Children can get involved in practical activities such as practicing CPR on child-friendly training equipment, learning how to put on plasters and dressings, exploring basic first-aid techniques and discovering what to do if someone is hurt or becomes unwell
Our stations are designed to be age-appropriate, engaging and enjoyable, helping children build confidence while learning valuable skills that one day could make a real difference.
Whether is a community event, family fun day or a festival our mini medics station gives children the opportunity to learn, practice and have fun in a safe environment.
